Prince Harry made a historic solo visit to Queen Elizabeth’s burial site at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor on September 8, the third anniversary of her death, as per The Sun. The Duke of Sussex, aged 40, paid his respects privately and placed a wreath of flowers at the King George VI Memorial Chapel, where the late monarch rests alongside Prince Philip, without Meghan Markle accompanying him. Queen Elizabeth died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland on September 8, 2022, and was laid to rest following her state funeral that same month.

As per the report, St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle holds deep meaning for Prince Harry, not only as the resting place of Queen Elizabeth but also as the site of his wedding to Meghan Markle in May 2018. The Duke previously visited his grandmother’s grave in 2023, continuing a pattern of personal tributes. In 2022, while he and Meghan Markle were in the United Kingdom for the WellChild Awards, news of the Queen’s declining health sent the Duke rushing to Scotland, and the couple ultimately stayed to honor her funeral ceremonies.
