No Other Choice is an adaptation of Donald E. Westlake’s
mystery novel The Ax, centering on a middle-aged man, played by Lee Byung-hun,
who resorts to extreme measures to find new employment after being unexpectedly

such as Son Ye-jin, Yoo Yeon-seok, and Cha Seung-won, whose collective talent
brought this intriguing story to life. This narrative explores the dark and
desperate lengths to which an individual will go when pushed to the brink.

Park Chan-wook’s reputation as a cinematic luminary is built
